Infrastructure and Learning Resources
Infrastructural developments at NGMC, apart from providing an aesthetic image to the college, keep pace with academic growth and offer a wonderful opportunity for students to enjoy learning. All the departments are well-equipped with the necessary facilities such as intercoms, computers, printers and Internet connectivity through LAN. There are 98 well-furnished, spacious classrooms.
The college is augmented with a spacious library that houses reading rooms for students, scholars and staff, xerography center and stack room. The college has a comprehensive IT policy. It has been formulated to maintain, secure and to assure the appropriate use of the campus IT infrastructure. The IT infrastructure supports teaching, learning, evaluation, research and governance. Office of the Principal, Office of Controller of Examinations, IQAC Departments, Director of Physical Education, Managing Committee, Computer Laboratories, Language Laboratories, Audio Visual Hall, Library, Seminar Halls, College Office, Attendance Section and Book Depot have been provided with sufficient number of computers.
The college has Conference Halls for conducting Departmental Seminars, Workshops, Guest Lectures and FDPs. Boys and girls have separate restrooms. CCTV cameras have been installed at various locations of the college to monitor the movements of students and staff. A public address system is operational in the college. Reverse Osmosis water plants have been set up. Water purifiers have been installed in every block. The infrastructural design of the college thus accelerates the teaching learning process to a great extent.
