Your employment is with effect from date of joining within 15 days from the date of receipt of appointment letter
- Duties:
You shall perform all duties as discussed and given to you by the Management (President/Secretary) / Manager-Administration or as designated by the Management and commensurate with your position in the Institution. You shall devote full time to your employment and expend your best efforts on behalf of the Institution.
- Confirmation as a Permanent Employee:
3.1 You will be on probation for a period of two years. However, the probation period can be extended further. Your confirmation will be subject to your performance.
- Separation from Services/Notice Period:
4.1. The Organization or Employee may opt to terminate this Appointment of the Employee from the services of the Organization without assigning any reasons whatsoever subject to the following conditions –
4.1.1. A minimum notice period of 3 months (for confirmed employees)/1 month (for employees on probation) is applicable from either side
4.1.2. The organization at its sole discretion may opt to pay relevant Notice Pay to the Employee in lieu of serving the applicable notice period in the event of the Organization’s decision to initiate the termination of this Appointment.
4.1.3. The organization at its sole discretion may choose to accept or reject the Employee’s offer to pay Notice Pay in lieu of serving the notice period as applicable based on the exigencies of the situation.
4.1.4. Further to the notice period as outlined herein above, no Employee from the Academic wing, entrusted / engaged with teaching responsibility, will under normal circumstances be permitted to be relieved from the services of the organization during the Academic year.
4.1.5. The Management reserves its discretion to review and recommend early release of any Employee from the Academic Wing (not assigned Teaching responsibility), Academic Support and General Administration on a case to case basis during the Academic year as per the Notice period and applicable conditions as mentioned herein above.
4.1.6. Where an Employee requests for being relieved during the Academic year – The Management reserves its discretion to review, and on case to case basis, any request from the Employee for being relieved during the Academic year and any deviations will be at the sole discretion of the Management.
4.2. The Organization reserves the right to compulsorily relieve the Employee from the services of the Organization, without any pay (or in kind) in lieu of serving any notice period that may be applicable, at any point in time for reasons including, but not limited to, the following –
4.2.1. Not abiding by the Policies, Practices, Systems, Rules and Regulations that apply to all Employees of the Organization at any given point in time including new additions, revisions and changes to Policies and Practices of the Organization by the Management.
4.2.2. Willfully or otherwise neglecting duty, responsibilities assigned, refusal to accept lawful instructions from the Management (President/Secretary) / Manager – Administration or as designated by the Management.
4.2.3. Any act(s) that constitute disobedience, insubordination, incivility, intemperance, irregularity in attendance, inconsistency in workplace availability, instigating fellow colleagues and / or students alike to act against the interests of the organization, misconduct and failure to discharge duty
4.2.4. Performance not meeting expectations of the Organization based on communicated standards.
- Transfer:
You are liable to be transferred from one department to other if required by the Management due to exigencies of work.
- Other Terms & Conditions:
- While serving the Institution, you shall show commitment in your work and devote the whole of your working time exclusively to your duties with the Institution and shall not engage yourself directly or indirectly, without prior consent of the Management in writing, to any other institution with or without remuneration in any trade, business, occupation, or employment.
- You should perform all your duties to the satisfaction of the Management / Manager – Administration or as designated by the Management
- You should cooperate with the Institution in executing theacademic, co-curricular and extracurricular activities in the college.
- You will be governed by the rules and regulation of this institution. Which are now in force and which may come into force in future.
- You will identify yourself with the college and strive constantly for its improvement and establishing good public image.
- Taking leave on loss of pay will shift the date of your regular increment.
- You shall not write/address in public or in the presence of students/parents anything against the interests of the Institutions and its policies.
- You are expected to be at work throughout the working hours of the Institution and be present in time for any meeting or get together scheduled by the Institution.
- You have to work under the supervision and guidance of the Management / Manager – Administration or as designated by the Management of the college and you shall abide by the rules and regulations specified from time to time by the Institution.
6.10 You shall maintain discipline among the students.
- If any declaration furnished by you to the Institution or any document submitted for employment proves to be false or if you have willfully suppressed any material information, your services will be terminated without any notice or salary in lieu thereof.
- On the date of your reporting for duty you should produce a proof of your age, relieving order from the previous employers, all original certificates of educational qualification and proof of last drawn salary with a true copy of the same for our records.
- You shall retire from the services of the institution when you complete 58 years of age.
- The decisions of the Management will be final in all matters including accepting of your resignation and relieving you from the post.
Ten Golden Targets for SF Faculty
(1) Punctuality: The faculty members should be punctual on all academic activities
(2) Time schedule must be followed as follows. The faculty members should sign in their attendance register in Director Office 10 minutes before the start of the first session of day in the forenoon and only after 10 minutes after the end of the last session in a day. in the afternoon session.
(3) Classroom management: Covering the syllabus in time; Attend the class in time; Attendance in ERP on the same day of the class;
(4) Meetings: As far as possible the meetings shall be held only after 4.00 p.m. and not during class hours.
(5) Faculty should publish 2 Research articles per academic years.
(6) Faculty should submit one Research proposal to external agency per one academic year.
(7) Faculty should participate at least one activity for the benefit of students other than teaching work.
(8) Faculty should be convener / in charge at least in one research/academic/expensive activity.
(9) Faculty should resister and get certificates at least two online course per academic year
(10) Faculty should help HoDs at 100 % admissions and 100 % fee collections 3
Ten Golden Targets for Heads of Departments (SF)
(1) HoD is also a faculty and he/she should follow the Golden Targets for faculty
(2) Work load and Staff requirement must be submitted before 1st of March every year..
(3) HoD must submit Academic Budget (Plan of Academic Activities for an academic year) in the first week of April every year
(4) HoD must submit Academic Calendar for an academic year (Day List of academic activities) for the department before third week of April every year
(5) HoD must submit at least one proposal to external funding agency per academic year.
(6) HoD must publish at least one paper per semester.
(7) HoD must submit the Q Bank for his/her department at least one month prior to start of the course
(8) HoDs should aim at 100 % Student Admission and 100 % Fees Collection
- Non-Teaching staff should remain on duty in the college from 8.30 am to 5 pm. They shall not leave the college premises without permission before 5 pm.
- Every non-teaching staff employed shall discharge his/her duties meticulously and efficiently and shall conform to the rules and regulations of the college.
- Non-teaching staff shall respect and maintain the hierarchy in the Administration and carry out their duties as instructed by the authorities to whom they are attached.
- Non-Teaching staff must always wear their identity cards during working hours.
- Non-Teaching Staff shall maintain honesty, integrity and equality in all activities.
- Non-Teaching Staff shall exercise self-discipline and deal positively with staff, students, parents and public.
- Non-Teaching Staff assigned to laboratories should be responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of the labs.
- The staff has to carry out any work assigned with regard to examinations conducted by the college or University as directed by the Principal.
- The staff should take prior approval if he/she wants to avail leave. In case of sickness, a medical certificate should be produced.
- Non-Teaching Staff shall avoid personal calls and social networking sites such as Facebook, Whatsapp, etc during the working hours.
BEHAVIOUR
- The foremost objective of education is moulding the character. The college lays great emphasis on decent behaviour of every student.
- Students should attend college neatly and decently dressed. Boys can wear T-Shirts with collar. Girl students should come in Sarees / Salvar Kameez / Churidhar. They should not come in any other dress.
- Any student found guilty of offending a staff member will be dealt with seriously and if necessary, the punishment may lead to suspension or dismissal from the college.
- In the intervals or during the unexpected absence of the teacher concerned, students should remain silent in the class rooms.
- Students should not loiter in the verandhas, sit on the steps of the portico and staircases.
- Students are not allowed to roam about the campus when a class is cancelled. They should remain in the class room or in the library reading silently
- Smoking is prohibited inside the college premises.
- Students who are found using drugs or in a drunken state will be summarily dismissed from the college.
- Students should abstain from participating in party and communal politics.
- Students should park their vehicles in the space meant for parking.
- For any function, conference, meeting or any gathering of the kind, students should get prior permission of the Principal.
- The Principal has the absolute right to penalize or suspend or dismiss any student found guilty of gross misconduct inside or outside the college campus.
- Students should attend classes well on time.
- Scribbling on the walls & desks or doing any other kind of damage to the college property is strictly prohibited. Students will be held responsible for any such wanton damage and they will be severely penalized.
- Students are directed to keep their mobile phones in switch off mode in classrooms.
- Students are not allowed to bring mobile phones to the examination hall.
ATTENDANCE
- Students should be in their seats in the respective classes before the teacher enters the class.
- Students coming late by five minutes or more will not be allowed to attend the class without the permission slip from the Head of the Department.
- Absence for one or more hours during a session will be treated as absence for half a day.
- Calling students from the classroom during the lecture hours, except with the permission slip from the Principal/HOD concerned, is prohibited.
IDENTITY CARDS
Students should wear their identity card duly signed by the Principal. The cards will be issued to them immediately after admission in the college. They should wear the ID cards in the college premises. They must be able to produce the ID cards on demand by the Principal or Teachers.
LIBRARY
- The Library will be kept open on all working days from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm.
- Silence should be maintained in library.
- Students should not remove/tear pages from the book and should not underline or write in the books.
- Books will be issued to the students as per the following rules :
- Students can use their ID cards to borrow books from the library. Undergraduate students are allowed to take 2 books Post graduate students, 3 books and research scholars, 4 books.
- Books should be returned on or before the due date. If a student fails to return the book on time, he/she will have to pay a fine of 1 Rupee for each day of delay.
- Magazines, dailies, booklets and reference books should not be taken out of the library.
- Students should check the books when they receive them from the Librarian. If there is any damage it should be reported at once.
- Students should take great care of library books. If a student happens to lose any book, he / she should pay the current price of the book and a fine decided by the Principal.
- No belongings of the student like bags, personal books, bound notebooks and ‘MOBILE PHONES’ will be allowed inside the library. That should be kept outside the library in the property counter.
- Students, before they go on vacation, should return the library books.
